The Chef’s Plate – A Taste of New England Features Essential Chefs Catering

The Chef’s Plate is a weekly half-hour restaurant show that features local New England chefs every Saturday in September at 3:30 pm on WBINTV. The show’s host and director, Helen Ryba, recently featured the premiere northshore caterers on the show – Essential Chefs Catering from Amesbury, MA.

The Chef’s Plate – A Taste of New England just finished an impromptu video featuring Essential Chefs which will air on September 12, 2015.  Among the dishes Chef Dan demonstrated in the video are “Pan Seared Sea Scallops with Late Summer Succotash”. He explains: “What we have for you today are pan seared sea scallops with late summer succotash.  These are fresh locally grown vegetables featuring peppers, onions, fava beans, grilled corn, and heirloom cherry tomatoes. You can find these ingredients in your refrigerator, garden, farm stand, or local organic market – fresh out of the ground and right into your kitchen.  Serve these with chicken or seared sea scallops as we have demonstrated here.”

Essential Chefs Catering had a great showing at the North Shore Magazine Grand Tasting 2016 in Salisbury, MA on March 31st. 

We had another FANTASTIC night at the 2016 Northshore Magazine Grand Tasting on Thursday night to benefit The Greater Boston Food Bank! We met so many wonderful guests and vendors!

We were honored to be included again this year at such an incredible event!

Our menu for this year’s Grand Tasting was:

North Shore Magazine Grand Tasting 2015  – Essential Chefs Catering

Essential Chefs Catering had a great showing at the North Shore Magazine Grand Tasting 2015 in Salisbury, MA on March 28th and served up mouth-watering shortribs!

Their “Burnt Orange Braised Shortribs with Spring Parsnip Puree and Fresh Horseradish Gremolata” were the hit of the event with people lined up to taste this delicious dish well past the end of the event.  They also presented a colorful and fresh “Spring Baby Beets with Cara Cara Orange, Arugula, Vermont Goat Cheese, and Blood Orange Vinaigrette” which converted many to beet lovers. Many of the attendees raved that Essential Chefs Catering served “hands down the best food of the event.”  Congratulations!

North Shore Magazine Grand Tasting was the ultimate date night! Food sampling, fine wines, craft beers, panoramic views of Salisbury Beach …..and Essential Chefs Catering did not disappoint!  We look forward to seeing Chefs John and Dan Martin at many other successful events.  Good Luck!
